Last Day In London

Late start, not good. Tomorrow we fly to amsterdam at 1:55. Hopefully the next carrier will let me post MMS messages. I hate Vodaphone UK!

Hey whats up everyone (all 2 of you), today was better. Went site seeing and saw big ben, the parliament, tower bridge, the london bridge,the london eye, soho and ate at busada ethai.

I see cannot send mms messages from my blackberry still, I called AT&T to see if they could fix it and they said they are having problems with mms messages all over europe, so f$#@. I'll try this tomorrow

Anyways, in my last post I mentioned that my pants smelled like tomatoes, well on the way to london (within the first couple of hours in the flight), kate accidently spilt bloody mary mix all over my jeans and we still had 8 or 9 hours left. It kinda sucked, the bloody mary mix had almost 2000MG of sodium so it stunk! Oh well.

Thank god we are staying with margaret because she is giving us insider local tips. On monday (the day we leave) there is a tube strike, so we have to get to victoria station by taxi or bus to get to gatwick express to catch our flight to amsterdam.

I dont know what is in store tomorrow but we'll definitely get up earlier. blog will be fixed soon, i swear.

Arrived in London 4 or 5 hours ago, tired as hell, running into anything bad that could happen. try to rest up to see if the night can be saved. My blackberry will not post blogs, so im pretty pissed about that. Kate and I are at Maggies right now getting settled. Ill post more later, i need a shower, I smell like tomatoes, more on that later.

And thus it starts again. This time, my friend Kate and I will be backpacking through out London, Amsterdam, Paris and Rome. I have been looking forward to this since I got back from my last europe trip (look at 2007 archive).

I will somewhat be a tour guide for my friend but I am sure i'll be just as confused as she is in many typical situations that first time backpackers get into. We are going in a month where it is slightly colder and less tourists (hopefully) than my last trip.

Also a couple things that are different on this trip is that we'll be meeting up with some locals in London (Margaret) and Paris (Ty) which will be a nice change of pace. I am kind of afraid this blog will just mirror my last trip but we'll see how it all goes. Three more days, I cant wait!
